Asus Rog phone 3 is the 3rd gen of rog phone series which was started in 2018. The first gaming smart phone line up was launched in 2018. Then, the Asus Rog phone was not a big hit. But in 2019 Asus decided to bring a destruction in the smart phone market. Asus Rog Phone 2 which was well priced at Rs. 37,999 , the specifications were crazy. The hype created by Rog 2 has led customers to expect a lot more from Rog 3.

The battery is quite huge and you can get up to 2 days of  battery backup with moderate usage, but with gaming you will get 1 day of  battery backup. This phone Supports Dual USB Type C Charging (there are dual charging ports) this is the same feature which we had got in Rog Phone 2. This feature makes it a very comfortable phone for gamers. It does not support wireless charging.

So the app opening time will be less & the animation of app opening & closing will be smooth. The Ram management will be also pretty good.

Camera-Detailed Review:

Asus Rog Phone 3 has a good to decent camera, but if we compare to Asus Rog Phone 2 there is a big improvement. Because from Asus in the past we have seen with Asus Rog Phone 1and 2 that their Priority has always been a Powerful Processor, best gaming experience, excellent display at the best price but this time Asus has to consider that a Powerful camera is also a Priority for consumers. So this time with the launch of Asus Rog Phone 3 they have fulfilled customer’s feedback. There is triple camera setup -main camera 64MP, 13 MP Ultawide Angle, 5 MP Macro Sensor. In Real World Usage, 90% of users will use the main camera sensor and ultrawide angle sensor. Most of the users will not use 5MP Macro Sensor because Macro Sensor is not used frequently in daily life instead of a Macro sensor they should have given the telephoto lens but the company has gone for marketing hype. In artificial lightning condition, the camera didn’t perform well in comparison with the daylight condition, the camera was not having much details and the colour accuracy was also not so good in artificial light. In video section the phone supports 8K 30fps. The phone also supports 4K 120fps slow motion video recording. So overall if we see to the competitors like OnePlus 8Pro, OnePlus 8, Xiaomi Mi 10, this phone’s camera can easily beat their competitors.

This Phone comes with Support of LPDDR 5 Ram and Ufs 3.1 storage. So this was my overview on Rog Phone 3 Gaming. Asus Rog phone 3 has some crazy gaming accessories like ROG Kunai 3 gamepad, aero-active cooler 3, mobile desktop dock, twin view dock 3, ROG Clip, ROG cetra core, ROG cetra headset. This smartphone supports dual usb type C so while playing your hands are not blocked. This phone also Supports Wifi 6, hyperfusion quad wifi antennas.

Asus Rog phone 3 Design is very attractive. Asus Rog phone 3 has an RGB lighting. Asus Rog phone 3 has corning gorilla glass 5 on both the sides. The frame is built with aluminium so it feels very premium. Asus Rog phone 3 weighs around 240g and its dimensions are 171.00 x 78.00 x 9.85 mm. This phone’s build is sturdy.

Asus Rog phone 3 is overall a good smartphone but price can be a deal breaker
for many consumers. The base model of this Smartphone is priced at Rs.49,999
for which you get 8GB Ram/128GB storage and the top model is priced at Rs.57,999 for 12 GB Ram/256 GB storage. This price is much higher compared
to Rog phone 2 due to:
1. Increase in GST
2. Fluctuations in Dollar-Rupee currency.
3. Price of New Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+
4. Covid-19.
The phone is expensive but not overpriced. This is overall a good smartphone compared to its competitors.
